Termites are a fact of life in the southeast. Thesewood destroying insects cause billions (yes, BILLIONS) of dollars in property damage each year. No structure, not even brick or concrete slab construction, is immune to their insidious appetite. Termite infestation is often difficult to detect. In the early stages of an infestation, termites keep their wood-destroying activity hidden beneath flooring and behind walls, siding and wood trim.  They will destroy wooden structures leaving only the outer surface intact.  Mud tunnels, holes in wood, and warped doors and floors are possible indications of termites in your home or business and should be tended to immediately to avoid severe termite damage.

The first visible sign of termites may be a "swarm" appearing in the spring.  That may just be the tip of the iceberg. Worker termites are active 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, foraging for new food sources (wood) to nourish the entire colony-- the soldiers, the reproductives, the young and, of course, the queen.  To eliminate the termite colony, you must kill the queen.

Why the Sentricon System?

The SentriconĀ® Termite Colony Elimination System utilizes termites own biology to eliminate them.  Allgood will install baiting stations around the perimeter of your home.  These stations contain Always Active bait, which the termites believe to be a food source. As the worker termites distribute this "food" to nourish their colony, it kills them, until the entire colony is gone.  Your home has 24/7/365 termite protection from the moment the system is installed. Plus, termites actually prefer the Always Active bait to wood itself, which means elimination is even faster than before.

Non-Disruptive

Allgood Pest Solutions can install and monitor the Sentricon System stations without even entering your home. The system requires no liquid or drilling treatments, and leaves no harmful or offensive odors behind and has limited disturbances to landscaping.  Liquid chemical treatments, on the other hand, involve digging a trench and treating the soil around and under homes with hundreds of gallons of diluted chemicals as well as being injected through floors, porches and patios.

Environmentally Responsible

The Sentricon System uses only a few grams of active ingredient to eliminate termite colonies. This active ingredient is contained in bait in Sentricon stations, where it poses no hazard to groundwater, and has no label restrictions for use around wells and cisterns. Among its green credentials is this: The Sentricon System was registered under the Reduced Risk Pesticide Initiative of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. And it is the only termite control product ever to receive the Presidential Green Chemistry Challenge Award.
